Based on the John Keats poem of the same name, La Belle Dame Sans Merci tells the story of a Knight who encounters a mysterious Lady, fell in love, but ultimately fails her when he is horrified by her true form. The story is bookended with the plight of a shipwrecked Navigator who represents the choice between career and art that Keats himself had to make. Shot by special permission on location in Jiuzhaiguo National Park in Sichuan Province, a UNESCO World Heritage Site,La Belle Dame Sans Merci is an ode to the leap of faith we take as artists. National Prize winner at the Short Shorts Film Festival.
